While hunting, I place my crossbow or rifle across the rail to leave both hands free. CF, I have made several for my API climbers, I do the same as Peter P with a piece of electrical conduit. They are not that expensive. We were thinking about wrapping the stands with a camo type material from the shooting rail down to the platform.
