Luckily, just like her other new friend Harper, I was a positive influence and extremely supportive of her decisions. I loved, loved, loved Annie. This is truly a feel good story about a woman who finds her voice and learns to follow her heart and find strength in the decisions she would make to improve her life for the better. I absolutely adored this book! When she confronts him, she learns that he is a P. I. working surveillance, and soon she finds herself breaking her self imposed rules once again, at first to help him out on a case, and then because she finds herself enjoying the time she spends with him. Thanks very much to Netgalley and the publisher for this copy of my ARC. I enjoyed this book and would recommend it; It is an easy, gentle read but it has a fairly obvious trajectory and a very predictable ending. Camille really knows how to write quirky characters and deceptively layered and nuanced stories. 5 stars but I still round them up to 4 stars because I loved the author's word choices and creative, original way of story-telling. This book was just so much fun and such a fast, breezy read, I loved it! Annie, the protagonist at the center of her latest novel, is no exception. I am so EXCITED to bring you my review of This Won't End Well by Camille Pagan! She was incredibly sweet, charming, and her eccentricities made her instantly relatable for me.

This Won't End Well is one of those books that I found impossible to put down. The thing I didn't like mostly is the romance parts of the book. At about the same time her fiancee Jon decides he wants to 'take some time' away from their relationship, and jets to Paris for a trip that he alarmingly keeps extending. And let me tell you, this book did not disappoint! Somewhere in the middle of her other books. Honesty is the best policy…except maybe when it comes to marriage in this brilliant novel about the high price of perfection from bestselling author Camille Pagán. Events that occurred while the protagonist struggles against the distance of the person she thought she loved, the events that take place around her and her decisions for the benefit of her own life, bring her to the end of this odyssey and writings to the most important decision. Having loved Camille Pagan's last book, I could not wait to read this one. Her best friend has truly gone off the deep end and thinks crystals and essential oils are the cure all to all her ailments and now Jon, her beloved fiance has vanished to Paris, he will be back he tells her through email.
