Starting Circuit Cutoff Relay Yamaha R6

Disconnect the starter relay from the coupler. Starting circuit cutoff relay is closed and the engine. No but im pretty sure bikes have a switch for when the bike is dropped to shut it off. The reason I was thinking about a reset button was because I've heard that they put them on bikes so that when they go down they have to be reset by a dealer. Is the clutch switch OK?

The starting circuit cutoff relay prevents the. I think I have traced it down to the relay assy for the saftey start circuit. Also- The day after Thanksgiving last year I went down. It does not, but there is a healthy click in the relay when I touch the battery post. I've looked over the bike trying to find any shorted or melted wires & haven't found any yet. Is that a good reading for the starter solenoid? I got my bike back from a friend a few months ago (he was storing it for me) & I noticed that the neutral light/switch doesn't work. I put a meter on the bolts and applied power to the two bronze connections and I can hear the relay activate and I get 2 ohms. Good luck hope this is helpful.

Im thinkin you have to pull that cover and you should see it. If it were me doing id look into the neutral/start thing first. Check the starting circuit cutoff relay for continuity. Just rebuilt starter. Starting circuit cutoff relay. When at least one of the above conditions has been met the starting circuit cut-off relay. Measur the diode for continuity as follows. It is showing code 43 on the gauges and im not getting the fuel pump to prime for start up. However, if it is activated bike doesnt start, and, shouldnt have anthing to do with neutral light. Are the tester readings correct? Every other test works good in this sequence; but the thing sounds to good for toast.

Thanks for your input! Connect the pocket tester (W 1) and battery. The starting system. Is the engine stop switch OK? Could it be a relay or the starter possibly? The tps and others where with in the parameters of the service manual.

This should turn the starter with the switch. Anyhow id share em if you like. Replace the ignitor. I posted this on the Facebook Clinic but was hoping to get some more input here... I want to find out if the bike has a reset switch when it goes down. Is the starting system s wiring properly connected. Continuity between black and blue/white? Battery positive terminal red/white.

The pump does work I've tested it with 12v sounded like it should. Basically added a 1/8 inchpplate connecting stay to frame.... took almost 15 minutes. One of the above conditions has been met the. I'm wondering if it matters or not? Think my man, if ya pull in the clutch it doesnt make the light come on ok? I think I might throw my old starter relay in to see if that has an effect on the bike. The ecu I had flashed last fall and I don't remember be off the top of my head if I had it flashed with the pc5 configured into the system. Remove the relay unit from the wire harness. Keep er shiny side up and let er rip. If ya got power an no speedo function ya got a bad speedo.... neutral start and light fuction off 2 swtches... a tranny switch, most likely the problem here, and a clutch switch. I plan on fixing the upper fairing mount & testing all of the switches tomorrow.

Turn the key, lights come on, speedo and fuel gauge cycle, in neutral (light is on), kickstand up, clutch pulled, kill switch in the run position, push the starter button and NOTHING. I initially thought it was the battery so I tried to jump start it with my car turned off but still just a click and I didn't hear the fuel pump ticking either. I mean a relay is just a switch to turn off or on right? I pulled the right side controls, cleaned up the kill switch contacts and starter button contacts. I have to put up the kickstand & find a certain spot when pulling in the clutch to get it to start.. .

Does anybody have possibly a wire schematic of what it might look like if this is possible. Did I ruin the electrical components with the running car even though the bike jump started fine?
