I guess there is meaning in either interpretation, but for me, personally, I've spent so much time with Do Jun and gotten so invested in his plan to buy Soonyang, that I instinctively prefer to think of Hyun Woo's time as Do Jun as real. One of the big highlights of this episode, for me, was watching the events around the wedding of Sung Joon and Hyun Min. His junior was instructed to kill him by the people "who need the slush fund. Jin Young-Ki tries to sacrifice his son but his son retaliates against him and pushes him under the bus. She praises the police. You can ask why, but to me its easy to explain, the plot wouldn't happen if Do Jun recalled who he was exactly and how he exactly got to that moment, you can say its 'selective amnesia' or it could be severe guilt that prevented him from seeing whats in front of him, Hyun Woo was blinded by revenge throughout this entire period of time. As a result, I never bought into it, and didn't even care, when they argued or broke up.

When he finds himself in a spot, he often doesn't speak immediately, which I feel is wise, because that gives him time to assess the situation, and think about what to say or do next. And, there are distinct lashings of humanity and heart that peek through from time to time, like when he explains to Sung Joon why he'd taken the blame for him. You can still see glimmers of Chang Je's old timidity peeking through, but on the surface, he's standing taller and speaking with more confidence. She asks him if he wants to ruin it.

The chairman of the Soonyang Group, Jin Young-ki, is leaving the courthouse with his bodyguards, and the reporters disclose that he had been accused of manipulation of stocks, misconduct and embezzlement. Prosecutor Seo is determined to prove the professional misconduct of the Soonyang family, and she seizes assets at the Hyeon-woo office.
