This will be a tour to remember as we combine the natural beauty of
autumn in New York with some of the largest and finest gardens in Canada.
Magnificent Niagara Falls is synonymous with romance and grandeur. No one
will be disappointed with the romance or grandeur of these sites. There
is truly something for everyone as this is one of the most popular tourist
destinations in the Eastern United States.
Our greeting as we cross the bridge into Canada
will be the Niagara Parkway Gardens. Among the beautiful interior gardens
to view are the Wintergarden Tropical Conservatory, and the Niagara Parks
Commission Greenhouses. Visit the Niagara Parks Botanical Gardens,
home of the Niagara Park School of Horticulture where the gardeners that
care for these stunning attractions are trained. Other outstanding horticultural
sites include Queen Victoria Park and the famous Floral Clock. The
Royal Botanical Garden in Hamilton is an Internationally acclaimed setting.
Features there include a famous rock garden with dramatic stone formations
and lavish trial gardens. These gardens cover over 2000 acres so our stops
will be those at their finest in the fall.
If you are interested in LDS Church History, there
will be a two day add-on tour including Palmyra, New York. Historic sites
include the newly renovated Grandin Press Building, Hill Cumorah and Joseph
Smith Home. Rochester, New York is home to Kodak. Everyone who travels
with us loves pictures so we will have a Kodak hour or two instead of just
a Kodak moment. We will visit the company founder's home, the George Eastman
House. This 50 room mansion with formal gardens includes the International
Museum of Photography and Film and Sonnenberg Gardens. |
